Andes switchbacks, the Sacred Valley, Cusco, and canyon roads that climb higher than anything in the Rockies.

Ecuador

The Avenue of the Volcanoes, the Quilotoa Loop, and the drop from the high Andes into the cloud forest.

The Atacama Desert, high passes over the Andes, and the gravel and glaciers of Patagonia.
