The best motorcycle roads in America are two long interstate days from Iowa, minimum. That math kills more dream trips than money does: a week of vacation where four days are spent droning across Nebraska or Illinois to earn three days of actual riding. A bike-transport tour deletes the drone. Here's how it works, start to finish.
Your bike rides out in a trailer. You fly.
You drop your motorcycle with us in Des Moines. It travels to the tour's starting point in an enclosed trailer, out of the weather and off the odometer, and it's waiting for you when you land. Your round-trip flight from Des Moines is included, and so is the ride from the airport to the hotel. When the tour ends, you fly home and we haul your bike back to Des Moines for pickup.
What a tour looks like
- Four to six riding days of 150–250 miles, nearly all of it on curvy two-lane roads.
- A guide out front who built the route, and a support vehicle behind with your luggage and tools.
- A historic hotel every night. No camping, no chain-motel roulette.
- The paid stops are included: distilleries, museums, caves, scenic trains, park entries.
- Three to six bikes, and we match the riders so the group actually gets along.
Booking is a $200 handshake
A refundable $200 deposit holds your spot and counts toward the tour price. Once at least three riders are in, we set the dates with the group, and the balance is due 30 days before the ride. Change your mind? Move the deposit to a different tour or take it back. No fine print doing push-ups behind that sentence.
What if my bike breaks down?
The support vehicle carries tools and a trailer, so a mechanical never strands you on the shoulder. If your bike can't continue, we bring a spare: ride it for $50 a day and finish the trip while yours rides the trailer home.
Where you can go
Right now we run eight tours: the Mississippi River (ride-out from Des Moines, no transport needed), the Ozarks, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Black Hills, Colorado, Utah, and the Montana backcountry, plus a ten-day Colorado & Utah combination. Every one is built on the same promise: we haul the bike, you ride the good part.
